A Well-Rounded School Experience

At Veritas Prep, we believe that a well-rounded school experience includes a variety of opportunities for students to explore their interests, express their creativity, and build lasting skills beyond the classroom. Our approach to athletics and extracurriculars is grounded in the belief that all students deserve access to programs that foster teamwork, leadership, and confidence without barriers. That’s why all of our extracurricular and athletic offerings are completely free of charge; Veritas is not a “pay-to-play” school. From Broadway Club and Viper Dance Squad, to electronic gaming, cheerleading, yearbook, drumline, and flag football, we provide a wide and growing range of options to help students find their passion and connect with their peers. We encourage every student to participate in at least one activity during their time at Veritas, and we’re always adding new opportunities. If students don’t see a club or team that speaks to them, we welcome their ideas. Just reach out to our Director of Athletics and Extracurriculars, Alyssa Dube!

Meet Our Director of Athletics & Extracurriculars

Alyssa (uh-LEE-suh) Dube is the Director of Athletics and Extracurriculars at Veritas Prep. Since joining the school in 2014 as a middle school P.E. teacher, she has played a key role in shaping student experiences both in and out of the classroom.

Alyssa was a member of the high school design team and helped launch the high school as its Athletic Director and P.E. teacher. In her current role, she is focused on expanding opportunities that foster leadership, teamwork, commitment, and creative problem solving, in alignment with Veritas Prep’s Portrait of a Graduate.
